Had old Adam had any more spare ribs
The Lord could have created more Eves
Could have even contrived other tidbits
For all those who have different beliefs.
– But he did, don’t you see how it is?
Just look at your own range of desires.
If there is any option to miss
This is due to one’s personal bias.
Did it not fan out each strain or streak
When He took the piece out of his toy?
Spread metastases, some gay, some bleak
And all for the same heavenly joy.
