Must Be Underexcited

I’m less excited than so many.
Is this crime?
I’m excited by stuff, sure.
Embodied nakedness does excite me for a spell
But this excitement – gone when
Poetry is on the loom
And there is not much substitute.

Nakedness, when embodying in a poem
Slowly stripping off, getting poem
Getting nuder than simply nude
Getting body on my loom
Strips excitement apart.
Skeleton, framework.
I’m so sorry for all this coagulation.
I am weaving a towel with a pin-up on it
And it’s not so exciting. A towel.
Who’d be excited by a sexy bath towel
That dries on a heated rack? They
Must be maniacs, I don’ know.

A Surefire Way to Inner Wealth

My natural propensity to parsimony
Dovetails penury.
The days pay me with dirt.
Penury pinchers won’t hit pay dirt.

Boredom and parsimony
Are basics.
My natural propensity to being basic
Marries so well with grudger day.
I am a pay dirt day worker
The dirt of the days is my nurture.
I am a nurtural skinflint with a flab
Gained by parsimony of movement.
Why should I move? To make
Days grow shorter or last? Is there
Something lurking in the wings
Not yet delivered? – There is
Nothing hopeful available for that dirt.
– Should I curry miser favor?
Days always end.

Let’s put out the lights and
Call ’em days. There we have it!
This is my surefire way to inner wealth.

Got a Postcard of Yours

As the eye corresponds, I
Can see your smooth curves in it, sweetie.
The eye slavishly matches those outlines albeit
Inside a quadrangular frame

For the eye isn’t angular, eyes
Are other balls, you know it, sweetie
Without limiting angles –
Points of view are indeed pointless.

Blunt and pointless, no edges attached
Neither cut nor horizon available, all
Embracing enough to dispense with any frame.
No sharpness in prickle needs umpire blur.

If any decision, imagination
Is going stiff under her foreskin;
Without showing up.
Love is happening though.

It would be nice if seeing could mean doing.
This is simply impossible. But
Lo and behold! I can make you out, sweetie
In this scenery, established and then dropped.

Jeux olympiques d’hiver

1

Ich baute mir ein heikles Haus
Aus einem ganzen Satz
Kein einzig Blatt ließ dabei aus
Nicht Zweien und kein As.

Doch wollt ich mit den Kärtchen nun
Irgendein Spiel noch spielen:
Unmöglich, weil die Konstruktion
Dadurch zusammenfiele.

Musst mich entscheiden, ob allein

– Ja.

Écoute-moi :
