Entitlement

Their baby faces spout off rights by birth.
I hold that they derive from he who loves
And otherwise must be deserved, dear doves –
Entitlement comes merited on earth.

Unlike your cheek, true panhandling opposes
But isn’t mainstream-backed facility
With claims convenient to conformity:
You are no gulls, girls, flight of spineless roses!

Would it be fair to leave it to your skill
And trust your charm to get things rightly done
Ready to substantiate what both fulfill?

The cause it’s all about has long been won.
Fancy a fight? Just pick another one
Without complaining, and no overkill.
