Chattering Fish

I hear the fish, they chirp like birds
Once light allows those buoyant noises
Because the dark and the profound
Gag their assertive voices.

The zest for life in fish and birds
Means to remain among their kind
But I must leave the realm of man
In search of peace of mind.
